Welcome everyone. This new site attempts to arm non-statisticians with knowledge and skills that they may find useful in their academic and business pursuits.

University students in medicine and more generally health disciplines usually need a grasp of some statistical methods for assignments and or for use in conducting analyses for a dissertation. Likewise, where engaging a professional statistician is neither practical, affordable or necessary, a business manager, especially in the health space, may wish to informally explore their data.

Let’s be clear, this site does not purport nor intend to offset the need for a professional statistician as and where appropriate and it doesn’t purport to make statisticians out of non-statisticians. The level of skills and knowledge imparted through this site are suitable for personal ad hoc exploration and analysis.
